Out of all our detailed photos, I think the ones of the reception room and the decorations in the surrounding rooms may be my ultimate favorites because I put so much work into each little detail. Working with my florist to create the vision I had for the reception room was truly a dream. The outcome was so lovely… looking straight off of Pinterest, except that this was all our work and not some photo I have been staring at over the past few years. These photos bring me pure bliss & only the best kind of nostalgia. As mentioned in my previous MY WEDDING FLOWERS my florist, Becky, added beautiful touches of brass candle sticks, little votives, foliage, and candle vases all over the venue, along with a heaping amount of insanely beautiful blooms. She decorated our head table to look so stunning with a gauze table runner I found in the shade called antique. I also created and designed all of the table numbers myself. They were made out of the same paper used for our wedding invitations and RSVP cards (antique paper from Paris). I wanted the table numbers to correlate with the invitation suite and continue to flow with the wedding theme. I was also able to find the table number holders right off of Amazon [here]!
Please feel free to leave any comments or questions down below ♡ I’d love to hear any feedback regarding the look of our reception room!
PS– I also tried to condense this post as well as I could, I just ♡ each and every photo, so it was very hard to pick & choose my absolute favorites!

The Reception Room
Our reception room was like an antique botanical garden. The light coming in from the outside was so dreamy. Stunning floral centerpieces stole the spotlight on each table. Glowing light flickered from the pillar candles and votives. Greenery danced around the room.
The Head Table
Andrew & I decided a while back that we liked the concept of having the head table include the entire bridal party. For one- everyone looks so amazing and elegant at weddings and having everyone together at one table looks classy to me. Second- these are all of our favorite people in life so, of course, we want to continue being with them all the way through to the reception. Andrew & I rented the cutest settee that acted as a love seat which was perfect. It had the tufted button details and was a neutral oatmeal color. We were able to have our space together in the center of the table, but still be involved with the rest of our bridal party. We had all the bridesmaids on one side and the groomsmen on the other. We also rented two Chesterfield tables to give off that rustic look and separate our table’s look from the rest of the round ones. Our head table had greenery going all the way down the center combined with the antique colored gauze and lush blooms.
Table No. 1
Our cute settee, called the Adriene
Obsessed with the golden vase those flowers are in- so elegant
