Pastel Cow

In this dreamy rendition of a young cow I thought about the softness of light conveyed in impressionist paintings. As I added the bright and unexpected colors and textures I found myself more and more intrigued with this painting.

I also enjoyed adding metallic effects to the final image which added to the etherial effect. I enjoy the softness of the expression on this sweet cow’s face, once again considering what human thoughts or emotions this kind creature might hold.
