2022-23 Music Takes Flight Art Competition

First Place

This event was a collaboration between the college, community symphony, world class musical directors and local artists to create a wonderful evening of experience for all attendees.

My challenge was to create four paintings that were inspired the selected music. The selected music, Respighi, The Birds, included four distinct movements each of which expressed a different bird of flight. The four movements focused on the four birds: Dove, Hen, Nightingale and the Cuckoo.
